Markus Werba Takes Mozart on the Road

Markus Werba
Markus Werba, along with Alex Esposito, remains the quintessential Mozart singer performing today. He has sung a number of Mozart's roles to great critical acclaim, including Papageno in Die Zauberflöte, the title role in Don Giovanni, Guglielmo in Cosi fan tutte, the title role and the Count in Le Nozze di Figaro and Nardo in La Finta Giardiniera.

Next week he'll trade in his costumes and characters for a tuxedo as he joins the glorious soprano Ann Hallenberg in four performances of Mozart's Mass in C minor. They will begin the tour in Cheville on November 20th and then travel to Boulonge, Issy-les-Moulineaux and Versailles.

Watch the entire mass in C minor here:

Werba will return to the role of Don Giovanni in February opposite the Leporello of Mirco Palazzi in Turin.
